The Brearley School, an independent girls’ school serving over 770 students K-XII, seeks candidates for an Upper School Psychologist/Counselor.
Reporting to the Director of Counseling and Wellness and the Head of Upper School Student Life, the Upper School Psychologist/Counselor partners with Student Life to support students in Grades IX–XII, advancing their social, emotional, and psychological well-being in a rigorous academic environment.
The Psychologist/Counselor brings expertise in working with adolescents and families, providing individual and small-group counseling, delivering classroom instruction, and collaborating with administrators on student needs and division-wide initiatives.
They work closely with teachers, grade heads, and advisors to promote well-being, strengthen relationships, and foster an inclusive school culture.
This role is part of a K–XII team of mental health professionals collaborating across divisions to ensure continuity of care and shared best practices.
