UNIS seeks an experienced and reflective educator to teach Humanities in Grades 9 and 10 and IB Diploma Program Economics (SL and HL). The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and global economics. They will inspire students to make meaningful connections to the real-life context of economics.

The position requires a teacher who can engage students in exploring the complexities and interdependence of economic activities in a rapidly changing world. The candidate will be expected to cultivate students' understanding of IB concepts including scarcity, choice, efficiency, equity, and sustainability while also developing their ability to apply economic reasoning to global challenges.

Requirements

  • Teach Humanities in Grades 9 and 10 and IB Diploma Program SL/Hl Economics in Grades 11-12.
  • Inspire inquiry-based learning that bridges economic theory, historical context, and global citizenship.
  • Guide students in developing their ability to apply economic reasoning to global challenges.
  • Cultivate students' understanding of IB concepts including scarcity, choice, efficiency, equity, and sustainability.
