Associate Director or Co-Director of College Counseling

Santa Fe Preparatory School seeks a full-time college counselor to serve as an Associate Director or Co-Director (depending on qualifications) of our college counseling team for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. The ideal candidate will be relationship-oriented, creative, positive, and energetic. Our team of two college counselors collaborates closely on questions, challenges, and issues that arise, while staying apprised of the shifting college landscape. Additionally, our college counselors work intentionally in a coordinated fashion with other administrators to provide support and design programming to prepare students for life after high school. The College Counseling team builds strong relationships with each student and their family, working to see the whole student and placing student agency at the forefront of the process.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and dynamic professional who is passionate about guiding students and their families through the college search and application process. We are seeking a team player who is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive community.

• Master's degree in College Counseling, School Counseling, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in college counseling or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the college admissions process and ability to stay current on trends and changes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and make sound decisions.
