Work at Satsuma Gokamon Kyoto Shijo-Karasuma, a Kyushu regional cuisine dining restaurant located in the basement of Kyoto Mitsui Building, just 1 minute from Karasuma Station.

Kitchen duties focus on plating and preparing horse sashimi shipped directly from Kumamoto, making chicken nanban with homemade tartar sauce, and assisting with motsu nabe and other Kyushu specialty dishes.

The restaurant features charming private cellar-style rooms with a calm, relaxed atmosphere, and staff collaboration is strong, making it a comfortable environment to grow your cooking skills.

Full training is provided from scratch, and those with prior restaurant experience can develop authentic Kyushu cuisine techniques including sashimi preparation and hot pot cooking.
