The Director of the Health Center will be an integral part of our school community, providing comprehensive healthcare to our students and working closely with the Director of Nursing and Medical Director to ensure compliance with all related state and local requirements.

The Director will lead a well-established and strongly supported school health and wellness program, providing direct healthcare services and confident clinical leadership to a team of experienced and student-centered healthcare practitioners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive healthcare to students, including diagnostic, evaluation, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and Medical Director to ensure compliance with state and local requirements.
• Developing and maintaining strong strategic partnerships with colleagues across the school community.
• Providing clinical supervision and administrative experience, including innovation in service delivery and knowledge of public health and wellness issues affecting students.
• Staying up-to-date on local and national issues, trends, and best practice standards in primary health care, school health, and health insurance.

• Strong clinical acumen, compassion, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop a broad institutional perspective and work effectively as a team leader and team member.
• Proven record of excellent clinical supervision and administrative experience.
• Knowledge of public health and wellness issues affecting students.
• Experience in school health and wellness programs.
