Building Cleaner

This job involves cleaning the interiors of Tokaido Shinkansen trains arriving at Tokyo Station. The goal is to complete the cleaning in just 10 minutes, providing passengers with a comfortable environment. Teamwork is essential to clean a 16-car Shinkansen within the allotted time.

Contract Employee: 2-month initial contract, then renewable annually from April or October, subject to adjustment. Opportunity for full-time employment.

Applicants must have no restrictions on employment status, as this is a full-time cleaning position. Permanent residents, long-term residents, spouses of Japanese nationals, and spouses of permanent residents are welcome.

• Conversational Japanese (equivalent to N3 or higher)
• Ability to read and write hiragana and katakana

Within JR Tokyo Station

Cleaning of Tokaido Shinkansen trains at Tokyo Station

• Greeting passengers disembarking
• Collecting trash from the train
• Rotating seats
• Checking seats for moisture
• Mopping floors, etc.

• 7:30-16:00
• 7:40-16:10
• 7:50-16:20
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 12:05 PM - 8:35 PM
• 12:40 PM - 9:10 PM
• 12:50 PM - 9:20 PM
• 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

• Conversational Japanese (equivalent to N3 or higher)
• Ability to read and write hiragana and katakana
• No restrictions on employment status
• Available to work in Tokyo, Japan
