Full-Time Substitute Teacher

Maryvale Preparatory School is seeking a Full-Time Substitute Teacher to join our community for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an exempt, full-time, 10-month position.

The ideal candidate will have Middle School teaching experience and a strong academic record focusing on an inquiry-based approach. This position will report directly to the Middle School Head.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide assigned classroom coverage on a daily basis - this includes taking attendance, monitoring student behavior, and ensuring assigned work is completed.
• Participate in the school community with other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; in education or related preferred.
• Experience working in an independent school setting is preferred.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with administrators and other staff members.
