OVERVIEW OF POSITION St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is seeking Assistant Football Coaches to support the Upper School football program during the fall season. This is a stipend-based, supplemental coaching position. Coaches who are hired by the school in a full-time teaching role may have opportunities for expanded, year-round involvement with the football program, consistent with their primary academic responsibilities.
Responsibilities
In-Season Responsibilities (Fall)
Coach an assigned position group or unit during practices and competitions.
Assist with practice planning, film breakdown, scouting, and game preparation.
Supervise and mentor student athletes during practices, games, and team events.
Support game-day operations, logistics, and team organization.
Off-Season Responsibilities (Applies Only to Full—Time School Employees)
Participate in offseason planning and limited player development activities as assigned.
Support program continuity and mentorship consistent with full-time school responsibilities.
Time Commitment
Fall-season coaching responsibilities are required for all Assistant Football Coaches.
Offseason and year-round involvement apply only to individuals hired in a full-time teaching role.
Practices, meetings, and events may occur before or after school, evenings, and occasionally on weekends during the season.

Experience in football coaching or related field.
Ability to work with students and staff in a team environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends.
