Part-Time School Nurse

Princeton Day School has an immediate opening for a Part-Time School Nurse to join our Health Office. The registered School Nurse is responsible for providing care to PDS students based on the standards of professional nursing practices.

This is a part-time 10-month non-exempt (hourly position) working approximately 16-24 hours weekly with varied days and hours.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

• The successful candidate will be a licensed, registered nurse in the State of New Jersey and possess CPR certification.
• Prior experience working in a school setting is a plus.
• The candidate should be detail-oriented, collaborative, approachable, kind, effective communicator and have the ability to multitask and work independently.
• The schedule for this position is to be determined based on availability and School needs.

Compensation Range: Your compensation for the nursing hours you will provide will be paid at an hourly rate of $46.00 less applicable taxes and withholdings, with $35.00 per hour paid by Educational Services Commission of New Jersey and the differential of $11.00 paid by the School. Your total hours will vary per week based on the schedule posted by the School and the total estimated nursing hours per week allotted by ESC for 39 weeks. You will submit your hours worked weekly to HR/Payroll via iSolved and be paid weekly on Fridays.
