Position Overview

The Senior Admissions officer provides strategic leadership for all aspects of domestic student recruitment and enrollment. This role serves as the primary ambassador of Rice Memorial High School to prospective families, ensuring a warm, personalized, and mission-centered admissions experience from inquiry through enrollment, grounded in the school’s core values. This position reports directly to the Dean of Enrollment & Student Support.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the full domestic admissions cycle from inquiry to enrollment.
• Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans aligned with institutional goals.
• Build and sustain partnerships with regional feeder schools, parishes, and community organizations.
• Oversee application review, documentation collection, and admissions decision processes.
• Collaborate with school leadership regarding financial assistance and enrollment forecasting.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records using the school’s CRM system.
• Analyze enrollment metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making.

Family Engagement & Community Presence

• Serve as the primary point of contact for domestic families.
• Conduct engaging campus tours and coordinate student visits.
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage current families and alumni.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or related field.
• Proven track record of successful recruitment and enrollment strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
