Theology Teacher (Grade 7-12)

Malden Catholic, a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Coeducational Middle and High School for young men and women, seeks a candidate for a Grade 7-12 Theology teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Master’s degree in the field and minimum 2 years’ teaching experience preferred.

Candidates should have the competency and passion to engage every student in a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, as well as a desire to become an active and collegial member of an adult community of learners.

The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic with a joyful willingness to support and model the Catholic mission of the school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 5 periods, courses as assigned, and will be expected to:

• Model the Catholic values of the School.
• Inspire, promote, and nurture the secondary level education of students by planning and tailoring courses of study; monitoring, assisting with, and assessing academic efforts.
• Provide a safe classroom environment conducive to learning and attentive to varied learning styles.
• Keep parents informed of student progress.
