Co-Lead/Assistant Teacher/Floater

Montclare Preschool is seeking a Co-Lead/Assistant Teacher/Floaters for the 2026/2027 school year. Hours: 8 am - 2 pm or 8 am - 3:30 pm, 5 days per week. Benefits and competitive salary. The start date is September 8th; Ten-month position. Hourly positions also available ($26.46 an hour).

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment that helps children learn and grow.
• Develop engaging activities and lesson plans that foster the whole child concept and take each child's individual needs into consideration.
• Collaborate with the teaching team regarding program development, planning and implementation.
• Maintain Children's developmental profiles.
• Observe, collect, and record data for child assessments.
• Maintain healthy dialogue with Education Director regarding all things pertaining to the classroom, students, parents, general environment.
• Attend team meetings, staff meetings, and educational workshops as necessary.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.

• Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Certification in Early Childhood Education (can be in progress).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
