Description

The Quad Preparatory School is seeking a Lower School Mental Health Counselor or Social Worker to join our team for the 2026-27 school year.

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Lower School Clinical Co-Head

Requirements

  • Master's degree in School Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • NY State certification in School Counseling or Social Work.
  • Experience working with neurodiverse populations, particularly those with autism and twice-exceptional students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, clinicians, and other support staff to provide comprehensive support to students.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
