Position Summary:

Antilles School seeks an experienced and dynamic Social Studies Teacher to join a committed team of educators in a collaborative environment that values flexible thinking and problem-solving.

The ideal candidate is a passionate and self-motivated professional, prepared to teach a range of college preparatory courses that support diverse learning styles and abilities.

A demonstrated commitment to working within a culturally and ethnically diverse community is essential.

Teachers are expected to apply best practices and integrate technology in meaningful and educationally sound ways.

The position includes leading the Middle School social studies program, including courses such as Art History, Ancient Civilizations, World Geography, and World History.

The ideal candidate is a student-centered educator who brings history and current events to life while fostering creativity, critical thinking, empathy, and a strong sense of civic responsibility.

Strong emphasis is placed on the development of research, public speaking, and writing skills, and candidates should have experience supporting students in these areas.
