Primary Responsibilities:

  • Teach multiple sections of Spanish
  • Collaborate and plan with colleagues to design learning experiences for students
  • Communicate and partner with parents and grade-level team

Hours/Classification: Full-time; In-Person; Exempt

About Hamlin’s K-8 Spanish Program and Department

The Hamlin School’s Spanish program prepares students to be empathetic, curious, and engaged learners who are able to communicate effectively in Spanish. The program is designed to foster a love of language and culture, and to provide students with a strong foundation in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
  • Valid California teaching credential or ability to obtain one
  • Experience teaching Spanish to middle school students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
