UHS is seeking an instructor of Spanish who can teach all levels of a six-level program, from beginning to advanced and honors classes.
Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency and fluency in the language and a deep understanding of its cultures and literature.
Candidates should have a degree in Spanish, Literature or Linguistics, and teaching experience, preferably in high-school.
We are particularly interested in candidates committed to the close reading, discussion and analysis of literary and other authentic texts, who employ a variety of instructional methods to foster language proficiency and cross-cultural competence.
