Trevor Day School is seeking a full-time Upper School Biology Teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. Candidates should be prepared to teach classes to students in 9th through 12th grade, including advanced coursework. They should be adept at designing and delivering lessons that challenge and inspire students. They should have a strong desire to work with a diverse student body and faculty in an open and collaborative environment. All Trevor teachers serve as advisors and participate actively in the daily life of the school.
Science classes are highly interactive with a focus on inquiry-based learning. Students are challenged to think critically and independently, consider alternative explanations for events, and solve problems creatively. Students acquire scientific literacy through guided discovery, cooperative learning, and investigation of real-world issues.
Qualifications:
The full-time salary range for this position is $70,000–$140,000 as per the school’s salary scale.
