Moses Brown seeks a part-time Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful applicant will teach 3 sections of Spanish in the target language.
In 26-27, the first semester will be spent in the Middle School, and the second semester will be in the Upper School. In subsequent years, the position is anticipated to be primarily in the Upper School.
Both divisions follow a seven-day rotating schedule with blocks moving throughout the day over the course of the rotation.
The hired teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues in the World Languages Departments in both divisions, especially Spanish teachers; but also with French, Mandarin, and Latin teachers.
In addition to the core teaching responsibilities, Moses Brown teachers have yearly co-curricular responsibilities.
Upper School faculty are asked to lead an advisory starting in their second year at the school. Teachers are expected to serve on committees, and attend school meetings, some of which take place after school, and support the function of the upper school as needed.
