Hollywood Schoolhouse seeks a warm, collaborative, and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our Early Childhood Team in the three-year-old classroom. The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a joyful, engaging, and developmentally rich classroom environment. This individual will work closely with children, families, and colleagues to uphold the school’s mission and philosophy while contributing to a positive and inclusive learning community.

The position is a short-term full-time position, running from September through approximately January, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.

The Assistant Teacher will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with the Lead Teacher to implement play-based, developmentally appropriate activities that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Assisting with classroom setup, organization, and daily clean-up to maintain a safe and inviting learning environment.
• Supporting transitions, routines, and daily rhythms that promote independence and consistency for young learners.
• Engaging actively with children during whole-group, small-group, and individual activities.
• Supporting small-group lessons under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
