The Center for Teaching and Learning at Galloway School is devoted to cultivating a culture of inquiry, practice, and belonging. Team members seek to build and foster relationships with faculty and administrative teams to ensure the growth, development, alignment, and implementation of the school’s curriculum, academic programs, and our pedagogical framework for teaching and learning.
To work in The Center is to fully embody collaboration, accountability, and a flexible growth mindset. Through curricular integration of art, technology, experience, and inclusive practices, Galloway takes a holistic approach to curriculum design that connects deeply to our school values.
This integrated approach aims to build critical, creative, and practical thinking skills, nurturing a deep understanding of oneself and others. This approach also ensures that learning outcomes transcend traditional boundaries, fostering an environment where exploration and the development of a growth mindset are nurtured and celebrated.
The integration specialist’s role is to support faculty in designing curriculum, units, lessons, and experiences that align with Galloway’s guiding principles and current pedagogical and instructional practices. Additionally, the specialist will work to support the growth of faculty and on school-wide alignment of teaching and learning.
