DescriptionSeven Arrows seeks a dynamic Lead Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
This role will partner with a co-teacher(s) and will be responsible for supporting all facets of learning along with demonstrating a commitment to our school community and mission. All teachers are responsible for planning and delivering instruction that is attentive to individual students’ intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and teaching language arts, math, and history curriculum
- Differentiating instruction in alignment with our approach to personalized learning
- Integrating technology into the teaching-learning process
- Performing ongoing student assessments, reviewing data on student progress, writing progress reports, scheduling and holding parent conferences three times per year
- Applying a range of strategies to successfully manage a strength-based classroom
- Conducting weekly Council in the classroom and incorporating regular use of mindfulness
- Assisting students in developing self-discipline and a sense of responsibility
- Helping supervise children during transitions, some specialty classes, and lunch/snack when necessary
- Working with other teachers on curriculum development, including STEAM and Spanish projects, as well as school initiatives, (e.g. UbD curriculum design, Design Thinking, and Makerspace integration)
- Submitting weekly lesson plans to the Curriculum Director
- Preparing a weekly letter to parents outlining the events and curricular goals of the upcoming week
- Communicating with parents and professional colleagues on a regular basis
- Collaborating effectively with partner teachers
- Attending weekly faculty meetings and participating actively in curricular discussions in an ongoing exchange of information, professional development, and support with a closely-knit staff
- Meeting weekly with the Curriculum Director
- Attending school-related evening events

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
- California Teaching Credential
- Experience working with elementary students and demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
