We are seeking a passionate, reflective, and dedicated Music & Movement Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year and help our youngest learners grow academically, physically, socially, and emotionally in a bilingual, inquiry-based environment.

 

Role Summary

The Early Childhood Music & Movement Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year plays a key role in supporting young children’s development through music, movement, and creative expression. This role leads engaging, developmentally appropriate sessions that build rhythm, coordination, body awareness, and confidence, while fostering a joy for movement and music.

The Music & Movement program supports children’s overall development and connects, when appropriate, to classroom learning experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Music & Movement Teacher supports our program by:

  • Leading engaging, developmentally appropriate Music & Movement sessions for PK2, PK3, and PK4 students
  • Designing experiences that support rhythm, coordination, spatial awareness, and gross motor development
  • Creating a joyful, inclusive environment that encourages creativity and self-expression

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with young children in a music or movement program
  • Ability to design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support student learning
