This is a kitchen staff position at Hama Sushi, a popular affordable revolving sushi chain, just 1 minute walk from Akihabara Station in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
The main task is cutting and preparing fresh sushi toppings, along with cooking other menu items such as udon and chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) — all supported by clear step-by-step manuals.
No prior cooking experience is required as thorough training is provided from scratch; most current staff started without any restaurant background.
Shifts are available from just 1 day a week and 2 hours a day between 09:00 and 24:00, offering maximum flexibility for students, homemakers, and those with other jobs.
Staff meal discount system is available to help reduce food costs.
