Software Engineer - Data Engineering

This is a full remote job, available from anywhere. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or DevSecOps.

• Strong experience with Starburst Enterprise/Trino/Presto
• Strong experience with advanced Linux scripting and proficiency in a language, preferably Redhat 8 Administration and Ansible
• Experience with Iceberg, Hive, or similar table formats
• Solid understanding of distributed query engines and data architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or similar IaC tools
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, or similar)
• Experience implementing data security, access controls, and governance at scale
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
