Full-Time Technology Manager

The Technology Manager is the go-to person for all things tech at The Kehillah School.

As a one-person department, this role is responsible for everything from big-picture planning to hands-on troubleshooting.

We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable working independently, enjoys problem-solving, and is excited to support a school community where technology helps everyone do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for information technology that aligns with the school’s mission and educational goals.
• Manage and maintain the school’s network infrastructure, servers, internet connectivity, classroom technology, phone systems, and security systems.
• Oversee IT support services for faculty, staff, and students, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
• Lead data security and privacy efforts, including compliance with FERPA and other relevant regulations.
• Manage all software systems, including learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), financial systems, and other applications.

• 5+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in an educational setting.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic technology plans.
• Strong technical skills, including network administration, server management, and software development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations, including FERPA.
