International Armenian Audio/Video Interpreter (Contract)

Overview:

As an audio/video interpreter for Armenian in LSA's network of independently contracted interpreters, you are responsible for handling audio and video calls on demand and facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices.

• Full fluency in Armenian and English.
• 2+ years of experience in audio/video interpreting.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to industry-specific best practices and professional interpretation protocols.
