Toyota Motor Corporation is seeking Indonesian interpreters and support staff for international trainees arriving in Japan at its plants (Tahara, Tsutsumi, and Kamigo).
Your main job will be facilitating on-site communication, including explanations of production lines and processes, work procedures, safety rules, and quality requirements.
While there is a lot of technical terminology used on-site, you can take our pre-training (manufacturing terminology) training before being assigned, so even those with no manufacturing experience can start with confidence.
Trainees will be assigned to different departments, and will be responsible for promoting understanding and helping both trainees and host teams settle in by providing consecutive interpretation for process meetings and morning and closing assemblies, explaining key work points, and sharing information on situations when problems arise.
Shifts include two-shift work, with hours such as 6:00 AM to 3:15 PM and 3:45 PM to 1:00 AM.
Although this is a short-term position, you will be paid 2,500 yen per hour and have all transportation expenses covered.
In addition, you will receive accommodation with free dormitory fees, utilities, supplies, and parking, and a free shuttle bus to the plant is also available.
For those working outside of the prefecture, travel expenses are provided.
This is a valuable career opportunity where you can utilize your language skills while simultaneously developing your manufacturing knowledge.
