Part-time French Instructor

The Modern Languages Department at Cate School is seeking a part-time French Instructor to join our team.

Reports to: Modern Languages Department Chair

Status: Part-time Exempt (Salaried)

Additional stipend work for other school programs may apply.

Housing: Not housed

The role formally begins August 2026 and involves teaching one section of French instruction consisting of 4 class meetings in a 7 day rotation.

Responsibilities include:

• Classroom instruction
• Department meetings and faculty meetings
• All-school events such as move-in weekend, family weekends, and commencement

Faculty members are also involved in programming outside of the classroom, such as coaching or serving as a dorm parent or advisor.
