Description

Reporting to the Head of Middle School, this contract position requires a qualified Middle School Spanish Teacher to join our team.

Qualifications: Minimum bachelor’s degree (in Education preferred), State Certification or Statement of Eligibility preferred.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Plan lessons linked to the curriculum plan.
  • Incorporate modern pedagogical approaches into teaching.
  • Differentiate and individualize instruction accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide opportunities for cross-curricular learning.
  • Record student progress.
  • Demonstrate effective classroom management.
  • Understand and value the importance of a well-rounded education.
  • Positively contribute to the school community.
  • Support recruitment and re-enrollment efforts.
  • Maintain respectful and professional communication with parents.

Uphold Episcopal values and traditions and act as a role model for students at all times.
