Math Teacher (Full-Time)

Buffalo Seminary seeks a passionate and innovative Math Teacher to join our dynamic faculty and help shape the future of our math program.

We are looking for an educator who thrives on collaboration, brings expertise in a range of math subjects and demonstrates a strong commitment to an all-girls environment. The ideal candidate is eager to contribute to the development, teaching, and continuous improvement of core math skills that provide a foundation for college readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching sections will likely include Intermediate Algebra, Honors Geometry, Financial Algebra, Math Support.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to design, implement, and assess an innovative curriculum that prepares students for higher-level math courses.
• Participate actively in departmental discussions, planning meetings, and collaborative sessions to refine and align curriculum.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on, lab-based learning experiences.
• Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessment tools.
• Build meaningful connections with students and colleagues to support a vibrant learning community.

• Expertise in a range of math subjects, including Intermediate Algebra, Honors Geometry, and Financial Algebra.
• Experience in an all-girls environment or a strong commitment to teaching in a single-sex setting.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues to design and implement innovative curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build meaningful connections with students and colleagues.
• Experience with assessment tools and methods to evaluate student learning.
