Bayside Academy seeks a part-time math learning specialist to work with students in Grades 9-12 who will provide specialized academic instruction using appropriate evidence-based interventions to help students realize their maximum potential.
Preferred candidates need to have a math certification, math teaching experience and expertise working with students with learning differences. Candidates must also have expertise and experience with childhood development, including academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive functioning; they must be able provide students with specialized instruction based on their individual needs; and they are able to plan, design, and implement evidence-based interventions and lesson plans that cultivate students' knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Candidates must have strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong interpersonal skills enabling them to work with all members of the Bayside community in a positive and professional manner.
