Bayside Academy seeks a learning specialist to work with students in Grades K-6 who will provide specialized academic instruction using appropriate evidence-based interventions to help students realize their maximum potential.
Candidates must have expertise and experience working with reading, spelling, and composition interventions for younger students. They must also have expertise and experience with childhood development, including academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive functioning.
Candidates must be able to provide students with specialized instruction based on their individual needs, plan, design, and implement evidence-based interventions and lesson plans that cultivate students' knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Candidates must have strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong interpersonal skills enabling them to work with all members of the Bayside community in a positive and professional manner.
