This is a hall staff position at Kyoujin, a well-established handmade soba restaurant in Komagata, Taito Ward, Tokyo, located just 1 minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line - a historic establishment that has been used as a filming location for numerous TV dramas.
Hall duties include table service, food and drink delivery to guests, and general front-of-house customer care in a traditional and charming soba restaurant atmosphere unique to the Asakusa area.
Shifts are available from 1 day a week across lunch (10:30-14:30) and dinner (17:00-21:00) time slots, with dinner shifts particularly in demand, and the proprietress is known for being highly accommodating with schedule changes and extended leave requests.
Wages are paid in cash by hand, a free soba staff meal is provided, and the training period maintains the same wage rate as regular shifts.
