Job Summary

Own new business across one of the fastest-growing smart home markets in the country. In this individual contributor role, you will have full ownership of the Greater Houston territory—from initial prospecting and trade partner outreach to in-home consultations and closing deals. This is a high-impact 'hunter' role designed for a sales professional who thrives on building a pipeline from scratch and delivering sophisticated, technology-driven solutions that make homes and offices more connected and comfortable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect builders, designers, architects, and homeowners through aggressive outbound outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct in-home sales consultations to understand client lifestyles, scope opportunities, and recommend tailored smart home solutions.
  • Develop and present comprehensive sales proposals, collaborating with internal system designers on technical specifications.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with regional trade partners through one-on-one meetings and group presentations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle within the CRM, ensuring every touchpoint is logged and data is used to optimize outreach strategies.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements

  • Exceptional sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and trade partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
