Community School of Naples (CSN) is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and motivated Upper School Science teacher with a passion for physics to teach AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, Physics, and potentially additional science courses, starting on August 10, 2026.
Full-time faculty teach five periods of 14-16 students, serve as a student advisory for 12 students, and have two planning periods.
The Upper School Science Department endeavors to cultivate in its students the ability to think critically and constructively, and the ability to communicate clearly and accurately their ideas, thoughts, and results.
As an upper school science teacher at CSN, this individual should demonstrate a passion and expertise in the teaching of science and a willingness to develop a vibrant, challenging curriculum that allows students to engage in learning through research and experimentation.
All Upper School science labs are in the state-of-the-art Institute of Science and Environmental Research building, which opened in August 2020.
CSN is one of the top independent schools in southwest Florida and maintains a PK3-12 school enrollment of over 1000 students.

Compensation and Benefits
This appointment is for the 2026-27 academic year, starting with orientation on August 10, 2026, and is paid on an annual salary commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and qualifications.
