Oxbridge Academy, a non-profit independent school serving grades 6–12 in West Palm Beach, Florida, seeks a full-time Middle School Humanities Teacher.

This employee will adapt and bring to life an existing interdisciplinary Humanities curriculum that weaves together history, literature, and English Language Arts to spark curiosity and deepen understanding of the human experience.

Through the exploration of meaningful questions, projects, and instruction, students will gain perspective and think critically about how people live, create, learn, share, and adapt across time and place.

With a strong emphasis on reading critically, writing clearly and concisely, and communicating ideas effectively, the teacher will help students find relevance in their learning while developing a stronger sense of purpose, and voice.

The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, connection, and strong communication skills through engaging, inquiry-based instruction that integrates reading, writing, history, and culture.

They will cultivate an environment where students feel seen, valued, and supported, building the confidence to think critically, communicate effectively, and take intellectual risks.

Applicants with academic backgrounds or teaching experience in English, History, or interdisciplinary Humanities are strongly encouraged to apply.
