FIFO All-Round Operator

Your new role

• FIFO role based on Groote Eylandt (flights from Darwin or Cairns)
• Working 18 days on / 10 days off roster
• Operating across a wide range of machinery, including dozers, excavators, loaders, skid steers, graders, and rollers
• Truck work including side tipping and occasional float work
• Duties will include:
• Final trim
• Bulk earthworks and bulk loading
• Scrub clearing
• Trenching and backfilling
• Batters, drains, and ramp construction
• Working as part of a skilled crew delivering crushing and screening operations and broader civil works
• Accommodation and meals provided in a resort-style camp
• Pay negotiable depending on experience, licences, and tickets

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an all-round operator in civil or mining environments
• Tickets and experience across multiple machines (dozer, excavator, loader, grader, roller etc.)
• Ideally have a HC licence, with MC highly desirable
• Previous experience in crushing and screening is highly regarded
• Ability to pass a mine site medical and drug & alcohol testing
• South32 induction (Dams & Quarries) highly advantageous
• Strong reliability and ability to perform in a FIFO environment
