DescriptionPosition Summary:
The Admissions Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office. This position is often the first point of contact for prospective families and requires a warm, professional, and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and ensure a welcoming and efficient experience for all. The Admissions Assistant collaborates closely with the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, as well as other team members, to support student recruitment and enrollment efforts for grades Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact (in-person, phone, and email) for inquiries from prospective families, providing accurate and timely information about the school and the admissions process.
- Assist with scheduling and implementation of campus tours, interviews, shadow days, parent visits, and testing appointments.
- Maintain and update applicant records in the admissions database.
- Track application components and follow up with families to ensure timely submission of required materials.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication with applicants throughout the admissions cycle.
- Support the preparation and execution of admissions events and outreach initiatives, including, but not limited to: open houses, student visit days, school fairs, and parent information sessions.
- Prepare admissions materials, mailings, and packets for prospective and admitted families.
- Generate reports and assist with compiling data for enrollment tracking and analysis.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student ambassadors to support the admissions process.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, ordering supplies, and managing calendars.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
