Villanova Preparatory School, a distinguished co-ed, college preparatory school in beautiful Ojai, California, is seeking an aquatics coach to head the varsity boys and girls water polo and swim programs.
Villanova Prep is a co-ed school serving boarding and day students in grades six through twelve, offering a rigorous education rooted in a rich intellectual tradition. The school is accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
The ideal candidate will have prior coaching experience in swimming and/or water polo, knowledge of water polo and/or swim training methods, rules, and competition structure, and the ability to work well with high school students.
The aquatics coach will be responsible for planning and conducting practices, preparing student-athletes for competition, and ensuring the safety of all participants. The coach will also be responsible for coordinating with the athletic director, recruiting and supervising assistant coaches, and communicating with student-athletes, parents, and school administrators.
