Assistant Boys Lacrosse Coach and English Teacher

Position Summary:

Perkiomen School seeks a full-time Assistant Lacrosse Coach and English Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as an Assistant Lacrosse Coach for an elite prep team
• Assist in recruiting potential players
• Teach 3 assigned sections within the English Department
• Teach various levels of English instruction, including Middle and Upper School
• Write grade comments on each student
• Write recommendations to college and various enrichment programs on behalf of individual students
• Serve the school's residential and student life program one weeknight per week and one weekend per month
• Serve as an advisor to a select number of students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts degree in English or equivalent
• Collegiate Lacrosse experience (playing and coaching)
• Experience teaching and working closely with adolescents of various ages
• Creative teaching style that embraces project-based learning
• Flexible planner to include both rigor and support for students
• Adventurist to guide students through new academic territory
• Desire to be actively engaged in the school community
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to support the residential life needs of a boarding school community
