The Summer Program Assistant plays an essential role in Teton Science Schools’ nature and play-based summer programs in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Our summer programs foster curiosity, critical thinking, social-emotional learning, and science literacy in young learners through outdoor exploration and adventure.
This position works closely with the Summer Program Coordinator and instructor team to ensure smooth program operations for over 100 campers each week. The Program Assistant keeps the gears turning– managing logistics, administrative systems, and camper family communications– while also supporting program facilitation. This role will spend time both indoors doing administrative work and outdoors assisting programs in variable weather.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in both program administration and outdoor education at a dynamic and community-oriented field education organization.
*Although TSS offers summer programs for various age groups, this position is specifically for 1st-7th grade summer day camp programs.
