Christ Church Episcopal School seeks an inspiring music instructor to lead the Middle School Choir and teach General Music Education for the 2026-2027 school year in grades 5-8. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty and staff across the school to cultivate an appreciation for music instruction and help students grow in their enjoyment and performance of music through a variety of planned music experiences - singing, moving to music, playing instruments, listening, and performing.
The position includes leading the Middle School grade level choirs, teaching general music classes and quarter long electives to students in grades 5-8, supporting weekly chapel services, and collaborating and leading musical concerts. The opportunity to work with Middle School musical productions is also possible, though under a separate contract.
