New Canaan Country School is a co-ed, independent day school for students in Pre-K (ages 3 & 4) through Grade 9 living in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. About the Kindergarten Assistant Teacher Leave Replacement Position
The Kindergarten Assistant Teacher serves as a member of our Early Childhood School faculty. Our Early Childhood teachers are experienced, dynamic and possess a strong sense of pedagogy. They demonstrate a commitment to bringing out the best in each student and ensure that each child is known, seen, loved and valued. Each Kindergarten Assistant teacher works closely with not only the Lead Teacher but the grade level to collaborate on new and existing curricular initiatives in support of student learning and development. The school is seeking an energetic and experienced assistant teacher for a Kindergarten age leave replacement position for the fall (late August- late January) of the 2026-27 year.
