The Alexander Dawson School seeks a full-time math and data strategist to work with our Middle School Learning Support Team.
As a Learning Support Team member in the middle school, this position leads educators to plan and execute “right there” instruction to students in grades 5-8. They will collect and analyze data from various standardized and internal assessments to design differentiated learning experiences for students, particularly overseeing the quarterly instructional objectives and groupings for our WIN (“What I Need”) program. They will also co-organize the administration of ERB testing in the middle school.
In addition to providing small-group instruction during WIN, they will teach one core eighth-grade algebra course and serve as an advisor (grade level to be determined) by delivering Dawson’s advisory curriculum and serving as the point person for the families of approximately 10-12 advisees.
