Description

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing TSS’s core digital platforms and systems, with a primary focus on systems administration, business systems integration, and remote / in person support of staff technology needs.

This position is focused on cloud systems, software platforms, and digital enablement to support staff, programs, development, and admissions. This position will work closely with the local IT manager who focuses on infrastructure and hardware.

This is a high-impact role that strengthens our internal operations and revenue-supporting systems while helping TSS scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Digital Systems & Application Management:
    • Oversee, admin and optimize key digital platforms (Google Workspace, internal tools, databases, learning/admissions systems, etc.)
    • Manage and troubleshoot systems integrations and data flows
    • Coordinate with vendors and consultants when needed
    • Identify opportunities for system improvements and automation
    • Maintain system documentation and internal training resources
  • Remote IT Support:
    • Provide remote Support staff onboarding/offboarding for digital tools and systems access
    • Troubleshoot permissions, workflows, and software-related challenges
    • Partner with local IT resource on alignment between digital and physical systems
  • Data Governance & Security:
    • Assist with data governance and access control for cloud systems
    • Ensure best practices in security, user permissions, and system compliance
    • Monitor and document system usage and risk areas
  • Strategic Systems Support:
    • Support long-term digital systems strategy and technology road mapping
    • Collaborate with leadership on systems scalability and efficiency
    • Help reduce reliance on manual processes through automation and tools

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in systems administration, cloud systems, and software platforms
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Google Workspace and other digital platforms
  • Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices
