Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate is someone seeking to learn and grow in the field of technology, and willing to collaborate with a strong team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to think on one’s feet are essential to this position. The Technical Support Specialist will work with a wide range of individuals in various roles throughout the school, and help ensure that our faculty, staff, and students have access to the tools they need. This is an immediate hire.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree. Computer Science or other technology focus preferred.
Experience: 3+ years working in a technical support or help desk role. Experience in this role should include working with multiple platforms including Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android, as well as performing diagnostics and repairs of technology systems such as tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, concise language for non-technical staff and students.
