Network and System Administrator

The Baldwin School is an all-girls college preparatory, independent day school, PreK-Grade 12, dedicated to a tradition of excellence in education.

We are seeking a full-time Network and System Administrator to coordinate and execute the design, installation, and connectivity of computer and network systems to ensure the stable operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.

This role includes developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing network hardware, software, security tools, and communication services.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of and appreciation for girls' education and will be responsible for direct oversight of the school's core systems, active management of cybersecurity tools, and support for the safe implementation of artificial intelligence tools.

Key operational areas include:

• User Management & Authentication (Active Directory)
• Windows Server & macOS environments
• Cloud Enterprise Collaboration Tools (Google Workspace and Office 365)
• Device Management Platforms (Jamf, Google Admin, Windows GPO)
• Server virtualization platforms
• Telecommunications infrastructure

This role also provides secondary, as-needed audio-visual setup support for school events.

• Develop, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all new and existing network hardware, software, security tools, and communication services.
• Provide active tier-2 and tier-3 support for day-to-day user needs, content filtering, and peripheral management.
• Manage telecommunications infrastructure and provide secondary, as-needed audio-visual setup support for school events.
• Oversee server virtualization platforms and manage cybersecurity tools.
• Support the safe implementation of artificial intelligence tools.
