Job Title: Lower and Middle School Religion

Job Description

All Saints' Episcopal School seeks a dynamic Religion teacher capable of leading rich, thought-provoking discussions in the classroom. This teacher embraces the Episcopal tradition of worship as well as the dynamic tension between faith and reason and engages students to do the same. This teacher has enthusiasm to engage and lead our students both on campus and beyond. This position is slated for the 2026-2027 school year.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach Lower School and/or Middle School Religion classes (e.g., areas of scripture, World Religions, the life of Jesus, etc.)
  • Implement, expand, modify and adapt to an engaging, experiential curriculum using an integrated approach that uses auditory, visual, and kinesthetic strategies and project-based learning when appropriate.
  • Promote a positive, energetic, and age-appropriate learning environment while advancing the cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual growth of students.

Requirements

  • Teaching experience in a co-educational Episcopal school or similar setting
  • Ability to design and implement engaging, experiential curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Commitment to the Episcopal tradition and its values
