Saint Patrick Catholic School is currently seeking a Middle School Math Teacher to nurture and support 5th - 6th grade students in their personal and academic growth for the 2026 - 2027 academic year.

Founded in 2005, Saint Patrick Catholic School (Norfolk, Virginia) is an independent Catholic school with an enrollment of approximately 400 students in grades pre-kindergarten through eight. Responsibilities

• Develop and administer meaningful instructional plans and the Middle School curriculum that is aligned with the school’s academic and developmental standards
• Develop students' skills and competencies in mathematics utilizing current research-based strategies with an engaging, active learning approach
• Promote a classroom environment that is safe, respectful, and conducive to learning
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current in best practices

• Master’s degree in Mathematics Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification in Virginia
• Experience teaching 5th and 6th grade mathematics
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
