Grade 3 and Grade 4 Self-Contained Teacher Program Description
At The Frances Xavier Warde School (FXW), our intermediate (grades 3-4) program provides students with a rigorous curriculum. During these grades, we particularly work to build a strong foundation in core content areas before students move on to a departmentalized setting. In addition, the intermediate classroom teacher uses a student-centered, social and emotional learning approach. This is comprised of a set of research, and evidence-based practices designed to create a safe, joyful, and inclusive learning environment.
